For almost a month, 33-year-old Alexander Kutuzov, a mentally ill killer, who voluntarily left a psychiatric hospital of a specialized type in the village of Troitskoye in the Chekhovsky district of the Moscow region, ran around the country.
He was detained on December 4 at the entrance to Rostov-on-Don, in the Aksai district of the Rostov region. How could a man without money, mobile communications, and lightly dressed manage to overcome 1000 kilometers from Moscow to Aksai?
Didn’t those who gave him a lift think about this question? Or did he coerce the drivers by force? Or was he assisted by someone unknown outside the hospital?
This will become known only after the investigation of the incident is completed.
A specialized psychiatric hospital patient escaped on the morning of November 4th while walking around the courtyard. Alexander Kutuzov unexpectedly easily climbed up the netting, from there he jumped onto the guard’s booth, climbed onto the concrete fence and jumped down – to the other side, from four meters.
The hospital in Troitskoye will turn 115 years old next September. It belongs to Moscow, but is located on the territory of the Moscow region.
Criminals sent for treatment by a court order are placed here, and before, the patients did not flee from here so brazenly and so audaciously.
Kutuzov is 33 years old. Fifteen of which he is being treated forcibly. He ended up in the hospital as a boy, at the age of 18 he accidentally killed a drinking companion in a drunken brawl. The guy himself is from a dysfunctional family. He was raised by his adoptive mother, since his father killed his own in a drunken shop.
When, by a court decision, the adopted son ended up under compulsory treatment, the woman did not abandon him. She regularly brought transfers, periodically visited. As a matter of fact, she was the only person to whom Kutuzov could turn after he left the walls of the hospital. However, as far as we know, the former pupil never called her.
It was rumored that the guy had a fight with the guards; he was afraid that the regime would be toughened and he would be transferred to a department with a stricter observation regime; was angry that the next commission, which passed through his soul shortly before his escape, once again refused to let him go home.
But, most likely, the escape was situational. It happened – it happened.
And it is all the more surprising that they found him after so much time. There were fears that in late autumn Kutuzov simply would not last long alone, the most logical thing would be to hide in the nearest dachas, he had no experience of survival in freedom.
However, the patient acted in a very non-standard way: he was able not only to exist at large for quite a long time, but also to calmly move around Russia, being unnoticed by anyone.
And yet they managed to catch him!
“During the search operations, the man was detained by the police on the territory of the Aksai district of the Rostov region and taken to the territorial police department,” said Irina Volk, an official representative of the RF Ministry of Internal Affairs. It is known that in order to capture a particularly dangerous patient, operatives near Moscow worked closely with their Rostov colleagues.
One of these days Kutuzov will return to his hospital near Chekhov. I wonder if he understands that after such a trick, not only will he not be released in the near future, but, most likely, will move to a medical institution with an even stricter regime?
