The creator and director of a shelter for dogs and cats is trying to take 170 animals out of Kabul. His car was blocked in a huge queue at the airport. It is reported by the British edition of The Sun.
The head of the orphanage, Pen Farthing, is sounding the alarm. According to him, dogs and cats have a limited amount of water, and the city is very hot. According to him, if you do not make it to the airport within a few hours, the animals will begin to die.
