As reported by CTV News, Federal Minister of Canada on Women and Gender Equality Maryam Moncef criticized, after a news conference on Wednesday named members of the radical Afghan movement “Taliban” (a terrorist organization banned in Russia), “our brothers” …
Explaining her words, the minister, who was born in Iran and raised in Afghanistan, stressed that her statement is just a “cultural landmark.”The scandalous statement was uttered to her when Mogsef decided to personally address the leaders of the Afghan movement.
“I want to take this opportunity to talk with our brothers, the Taliban. We call on you to ensure the safe and secure exit of any person from Afghanistan, to immediately stop violence, genocide, murder of women, destruction of infrastructure, including historical buildings,” the minister said.
