The central bank will ask banks from 2022 for information on all money transfers between individuals. Such a measure will make it possible to make the fight against online casinos and crypto exchangers more effective, experts interviewed by RBC explained.
As specified, the Central Bank has already sent a new form of reporting on money transfers between individuals to all credit institutions. This document will contain information about all p2p transactions, that is, about all money transfers from citizen to citizen. For example, it will contain personal data of senders and recipients of funds, experts said.
In turn, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sovcombank Oleg Mashtalyar added that the Central Bank plans to launch risk-oriented monitoring of p2p transfers in January 2022.
