Mumbai police have arrested three accused. According to the report so far, when the police got the technical clues in this case, they got some information about the builder of the club house. Police then started questioning the Lucknow student.
According to Delhi Police, a team was sent to Lucknow. Here, a person named Rahul Kapoor, who runs an ID by the name of Bismillah, was tracked. He confessed in a police interrogation that he set up an audio chat room in the clubhouse at the request of a user named Cellus and handed over control to him. Police have confiscated Rahul’s mobile phone and he is being interrogated in Delhi till evening.
Earlier, while processing a complaint lodged by a Mumbai woman, Mumbai Cyber Crime Police arrested three accused in the case. According to Mumbai Police, three suspects have been identified through technical analysis and arrested. One accused Akash, 19, has been arrested from Karnal. Two other accused have been arrested from Faridabad. Among them, 21-year-old Jishnu Kakkar is a B.Com student, while 22-year-old Yash Prashar is a law student.
According to police, the accused in the case was Akash Moderator while other participants were also present. Many people, including women, are involved. Most people can only be heard. However, action will be taken against whoever is identified. Police have obtained transit remand of all the accused and all the three accused are being brought to Mumbai.
It is said that between January 16 and January 19, two chat rooms were created on this app. Akash has been identified as the main culprit, while others have taken part in it. Further information will come to light after the interrogation of the three accused. According to the report, so far no particular caste or religion has been targeted in the chats on this app. Here women were targeted and debated against them.
