* Congratulations to the farmers who bowed their heads in pride: Rahul

New Delhi, Nov 19 (UNI) Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi today termed the government’s announcement to withdraw the three agricultural laws as a defeat of injustice and congratulated the farmers on their victory. The head of pride is bowed.

Mr Gandhi tweeted: “These givers of the country bowed their heads in arrogance. Congratulations on this victory against injustice! Long live India, long live the farmer of India. ”
It may be recalled that Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday announced the withdrawal of agricultural laws and appealed to the protesting farmers to return home. However, farmers say they will end the agitation as soon as the process of withdrawing it begins in Parliament.
