New Delhi: The Corona situation in the country has worsened in the last 24 hours as compared to the last few days as 2,796 people have died due to the epidemic. As of midnight on Saturday, 8895 new cases of corona infection have been reported in India and 2796 people have died due to this epidemic.
In the last 24 hours, the number of active cases in the country has dropped from less than 100,000 to 99,155, according to data released by the Union Ministry of Health on Sunday morning. With the emergence of 8,895 new cases of corona infection, the total number of victims has increased to 34,633,255.
During this period, after the recovery of 6918 patients, the number of those who defeated the epidemic reached 34,060,774. It should be noted that in the last 24 hours, after the death of 2796 patients from this deadly virus infection, the number of deaths has risen to 473,326. The country has an active case rate of 0.29%, recovery rate of 98.35% and death rate of 1.37%.
According to the ministry, 1,418,707 vaccines have been administered in the same period. At the same time, 127 crore 61 lakh 83 thousand 65 crore vaccines have been given so far.
