Kavand, Modi and Rahul expressed grief over the demise of Group Captain Varun Singh

New Delhi Varun Singh, Dec 15: President Ram Nath Kavand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and various Union Ministers and other leaders of the Indian Air Force The group has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Captain Varun Singh.

Air Force Group Captain Singh was injured in a helicopter crash in Kannur, Tamil Nadu on December 8, in which the country’s first Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat and his entourage went to Wellington by helicopter. 13 others were killed. Group Captain Singh was critically injured in the accident and died at a hospital in Bangalore today.

Announcing his death, the Air Force said in a statement: “The Air Force is deeply saddened to learn that the brave group Captain Varun Singh has passed away. Group Captain Singh, who was injured in a helicopter crash on December 08, 2021, passed away this morning. The Indian Air Force is deeply saddened by his passing and stands with the bereaved family.

In his condolence message on his demise, President Kavand said, “I am saddened to learn of the demise of Group Captain Varun Singh, who fought valiantly for his life. He was seriously injured in the accident but showed great courage and fortitude. The nation is grateful to him, my condolences to his family. “

Prime Minister Modi wrote in his condolence message, “Group Captain Varun Singh served the nation with pride, bravery and highly professionalism. I am deeply saddened by his death. His devotion to the nation will never be forgotten. I offer my condolences to his bereaved family and friends. Om Shanti ”

Expressing his condolences on the demise of Group Captain Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah said, had been. May Ishwar give strength to his family. My deepest condolences. Om Shanti-Om Shanti. ”

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh lamented, “The pain felt by the news of the demise of Indian Air Force pilot group Captain Varun Singh cannot be described in words. He was a true warrior, fighting till his last breath. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. We are with his family in this difficult time. “

In a condolence message, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur said, “Group Captain Varun Singh Ji remained dedicated to the nation with full bravery and loyalty till his last breath. His death is very sad. May Ishwar grant patience to his family.

Expressing grief over the demise of Group Captain Singh, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, “My deepest condolences to the family of Group Captain Varun Singh. This is a sad time for the country, we all stand with you in this difficult time.

Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goel, Jyotiraditya M. Sindhia and other leaders have also expressed condolences over the death of Indian Air Force pilot group Captain Varun Singh.
