A 17-year-old college student drowned in a sewage treatment plant channel after falling into it at night. The girl was completely drunk, but the investigators found out that not only she herself was to blame for her death. The unfortunate cohabitant went on trial, who systematically soldered her and actually left her to die.
As it became known to MK, the tragedy occurred in the city of Elektrougli, Noginsk urban district, in the spring of 2019. Alina (name changed. – Approx. Aut. ) By that time, she had been living with her boyfriend, 22-year-old Andrei, for more than a year. They met on the Internet, and after the guy returned from the army, they decided to live together. Their way of life could not be called ascetic – Andrei himself liked to drink, and Alina was addicted to this. The girl leaned on wine, relatives knew about this and more than once expressed their dissatisfaction with her friend.
At the end of March, Andrei received a leave of absence from work and invited his friend to a cafe to celebrate this event. Alina was with them. The company leaned heavily on whiskey and cognac, and pretty quickly all three got pretty drunk. At some point, the men quarreled and fought, the staff called the police. Andrei and Alina rushed to their heels. Drunk, they ran without looking at the road, fell into a ravine in the dark and ended up in a swamp on the territory of the treatment plant. The couple made their way to an island.
Their phones got wet, the guys could not call for help. Andrei went to look for a road, got out onto the highway, but all he had the mind to do was to catch a ride, drive home and go to bed. Waking up the next day and learning from her father that Alina never returned. Together with relatives, the guy went to the treatment plant, where in one of the channels he found the corpse of his beloved. Apparently, the drunken and chilled girl fell into the water at night and choked.
The Noginsk court found Andrei guilty of involving minors in the systematic drinking of alcoholic beverages. They tried to accuse him of leaving him in danger, but the fact that Alina would certainly have died in that situation could not be proved. The booze lover received 2 years probation and will have to pay 300 thousand rubles to the relatives of the deceased.
