For the first time in 10 years, a Turkish warship anchored at Haifa port in Israel.

A Turkish warship went to Haifa with a US Navy ship, both part of NATO exercises.

According to foreign media reports, the Turkish plane will stay in Israel for a few days, where it will be refueled.

It should be noted that during 2018, relations between Israel and Turkey deteriorated so much over the border disputes in Gaza that both countries expelled each other’s ambassadors.

In March this year, Israeli President Isaac Herzog visited Turkey and met with President Tayyip Erdogan, after which diplomatic relations have been fully restored.
