Mumbai: Sameer Wankhede is no longer the Mumbai zone director of the NCB, but his worries are not over. On Wednesday, the license of a hotel (bar) in Sameer Wankhede in Maharashtra was revoked. The reason why this was done is also stated.

The incident took place in Navi, Maharashtra. Its license has been revoked by Thane Collector. It is said that the documents submitted by Samir Wankhede for obtaining the license have been found to be fake, therefore his license has been revoked.

Thane SP Abakari Nilesh Sangde on the matter said that the license of Sadgro Hotel and Bar has been revoked. This has been done on the order of the district magistrate. Earlier, the district magistrate had also issued notice to Sameer Wankhede. The investigation revealed that he was under 21 years of age at the time of applying for the license, so the license of Sadgro Hotel & Bar is being revoked.

According to the report, Sameer Wankhede, former zonal director of NCB, was 17 years and 10 months old when he applied for the license, while the excise department said that the license is issued at the age of 21.

Earlier, Samir Wankhede was charged with corruption. The allegations were made by an independent witness in the cruise case. Karan Gosavi’s bodyguard Prabhakar Cell had claimed that a deal of Rs 250 million was being negotiated for the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s son and finally a deal of Rs 180 million was reached, out of which Sameer Wankhede got Rs 80 million. After that, Nawab Malik, the minister of Maharashtra, made such revelations against Sameer Wankhede one by one that Sameer Wankhede got into trouble. He was even removed from the investigation into the drug case involving Aryan Khan. Nawab Malik had said that Sameer had got a job in NCB on the basis of fake caste certificate. Nawab Malik had also raised the issue of marrying Sameer twice.
