A 50-year-old man drowned on Saturday in the Ramensky pond. The wife wanted to start swimming after him, but did not even have time to undress.
As “MK” managed to find out, in the afternoon Vitaly (name has been changed), slightly taking on his chest in honor of the end of the working week, walked with his beloved near the reservoir. Finishing the promenade, the man offered to take a shortcut and go to the house on the ice. The wife was skeptical about this idea and prudently stayed on the shore. Meanwhile, the man, barely stepping on the thin ice, fell through and began to sink. He did not have the strength to get ashore. Witnesses watched as he beat the ice with his hands. The wife began frantically to pull off her outer clothing. The heroic lady was about to swim to the rescue, but the man had already gone under the water. Perhaps he hoped to swim a few meters under water to the shore, but nothing came of it.
