October 1 Russia: Ends the moratorium on bankruptcy and recovery, which was introduced in March after the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions.
According to TASS, the government decided not to extend the moratorium but is ready to discuss exceptions with relevant departments. A six-month delay in initiating bankruptcy proceedings at the request of creditors was supposed to prevent unjustified bankruptcies of debtors.
According to a Forbes study, more than a quarter of Russian companies said that the moratorium harmed them because it deprived them of a tool of pressure.
