Maharashtra ranks first in the country in terms of active cases, though in the last 24 hours the number of active cases has come down to 2943 and currently stands at 268484. With the recovery of 46591 patients, the number of those who have been cleared from Corona has increased to 6915407. At the same time, 49 more patients died, bringing the death toll from the disease to 1,41,934.

In Karnataka, their number is 2,67,679 which is second in active affairs. There are 17,269 active cases. A total of 23,209 patients have recovered in the state, including 30,23,034 who have recovered from Corona. At the same time, 21 more patients have died and the death toll has risen to 38,486.
