Khattar : Talks continue on withdrawal of cases against farmers

Chandigarh: Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said that talks were underway with the farmers regarding withdrawal of cases registered against them during the farmers’ movement.

Speaking to media after a meeting of the Department of Administrative Reforms here, Mr Khattar said that the list of farmers who had died in the farmers’ movement would be verified by the police department.

Regarding the withdrawal of cases, he said that all the Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents of Police would prepare a report on how many cases could be withdrawn immediately.
