Shato Garko, 18, was crowned Miss Nigeria at a beauty pageant in the African nation of Nigeria on Sunday. It should be noted that Shato is the first Muslim in this country with a population of 21 crore to win the beauty pageant.

The competition was drawn between 18 women. The beauty pageant has been held in Nigeria since 1957. Every time this activity causes controversy in the country.[Miss Nigeria]

After Shato was declared the winner of the beauty pageant, a prize of 10 million Naira (ہزار 25,000) was offered. They will also get accommodation with a car in a luxurious apartment for a period of one year.
