The vast majority of Aeroflot Russian Airlines employees have been vaccinated against COVID-19. As of the beginning of this week, this is 12,694 people, which is more than 73% of the average number of employees in Moscow and the Moscow region, said Mikhail Demin, an official representative of Aeroflot.
“Aeroflot has summed up the first results of its own vaccination campaign. More than 73% of employees are vaccinated. This is a very good result, since this is primarily a consequence of informational and explanatory work. Management at all levels, including the CEO, participated in information events, and external experts were invited. Sergei Tsarenko, Deputy Chief Physician of Hospital 52, gave a lecture, including answers to employee questions, especially for Aeroflot Group. Vaccinated Aeroflot employees received an additional paid vacation day, ”Demin said.
Demin also noted that the company has about 1542 employees who are not subject to vaccination.
