New Delhi: With seven new cases of Covid-19 Omicron variant in the last 24 hours in the country, their number has increased to 422 in total, with Maharashtra having the highest number of 108 cases.
According to data released by the Union Ministry of Health on Sunday, Delhi has the highest number of 79 cases of Omicron after Maharashtra, while Gujarat currently has 43 cases. On the other hand, 41 in Telangana, 38 in Kerala, 34 in Tamil Nadu, 31 in Karnataka, 22 in Rajasthan, four in Odisha, Haryana and Andhra Pradesh, three in Jammu and Kashmir, six in West Bengal, two in Uttar Pradesh and Chandi. One case each has been reported in Garh, Ladakh and Uttarakhand.

On the other hand, 130 people affected by Omicron variant have been discharged from various hospitals after recovering.
