New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind left for Dhaka on Wednesday morning to attend the 50th anniversary celebrations of Bangladesh’s independence. The president has visited a country for the first time since the epidemic.

During his visit to Bangladesh, he will pay tribute to the 1971 martyrs at the war memorial. He is also scheduled to visit the Bang Bandhu Memorial. He will attend a delegation-level meeting with Bangladesh Presidennt Abdul Hamid. The next day he will be the special guest of Vijay Dos Parade. The President will meet freedom fighters and former Indian military officers in Dhaka. India and Bangladesh are celebrating the year 2021 as the year of Mujib. Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Bangladesh in March this year.
