Russian President Vladimir Putin said that it is necessary to return home to those citizens who fell under partial mobilization without reason. He said this on September 29 at a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
According to him, in the course of partial mobilization “many questions arise”, and the mistakes made must be corrected. This also applies to delays.
“For example, we mean fathers of many children, or people suffering from chronic diseases, or who have already passed the military age. It is necessary to deal with each such case separately, and if a mistake is made, I repeat, it must be corrected, those who were called up without a proper reason should be returned home,” the head of state emphasized.
Putin cited as an example case where doctors or other specialists with many years of experience are enlisted as motorized riflemen instead of serving where they could be useful. The president is also unhappy with the fact that volunteers who come to the military registration and enlistment offices themselves are not recruited, since they do not have the necessary military specialties.
“With all this – without fuss, calmly, but quickly, in detail, thoroughly – you need to figure it out. On my instruction, the recruitment commissions, which are headed by the heads of the regions, also include prosecutors of the corresponding levels. I ask the Attorney General to respond immediately to every signal,” the president added.
