Rail accident : Just a few days after the major train accident in Kolkata, the news of the train accident is coming out again. Fortunately, the accident did not prove to be dangerous. The incident took place at around 9 am on Tuesday when the wheels of Vasco da Gama Hoda Amaravati Express derailed. The accident took place between Dudh Sagar and Karanjol (in Goa). The front wheels of the train’s chief loco derailed. However, all passengers and employees aboard the train are safe. No casualties were reported.

Railway officials said that the entire track has been closed due to derailment of the train. An ART train (accident relief train) has been sent to Dudh Sagar. Senior officials of the department are monitoring the situation.

Earlier, on January 13, 12 bogies of the Bikaner Express from Patna to Guwahati derailed near Domohani in West Bengal’s Jalpaiguri district, causing a major train accident. Nine people were killed and at least 45 were injured. Railway Minister Ashwini Vishnu then visited the spot and inspected it and Indian Railways paid Rs 500,000 to the heirs of the deceased, Rs 100,000 to the severely injured and Rs 25,000 to the slightly injured. Had announced to give.

According to the North Eastern Frontier Railway (CPRO), the movement of trains on this railway line was suspended for several days after the accident in Jalpaiguri district. Three days after the completion of the relief operation, the restoration work was started due to which the route of many trains was changed and many trains reached their destination late.
