Most Russian tourists still want to travel the world. Even a number of anti-coronavirus measures do not prevent them from planning travel for the future. This is the conclusion reached by researchers who have examined in detail the statistics of travel in recent years.
The most unpleasant limitation for tourists is the mandatory quarantine upon arrival in the country. Not all of them are ready to spend the necessary time in isolation. In general, 97.8% of respondents want to resume travel around the world.
83.8% of respondents are ready to refuse to travel due to quarantine. Tourists are also not happy with PCR tests – 80.1% of travelers refuse to visit the country under this pretext. However, 73.5% are ready to take advantage of the vaccination certificate.
At the same time, 62.2% are ready to go even if cafes and restaurants are closed, 60.3% are not worried about the requirement to present a QR code to visit catering establishments.
The coronavirus restrictions did not affect travel in any way for 17% of tourists. This is due to the fact that most of them simply did not have time to plan their trip before the introduction of restrictive measures. As for trips across Russia – 14.6% had to completely abandon their plans, reports the Tourprom.ru portal.
