Saakashvili : The representative of the Ombudsman, Anna Dzhaniashvili, told reporters about her visit to the military hospital in the city of Gori, ex-President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili.

According to her, the politician complained that they intended to transport him from the medical facility back to the prison.

“People came to Saakashvili and said that they were planning to take him out of the hospital … He resisted, after which he does not remember anything,” Dzhaniashvili said, quoted by TASS.

The representative of the Ombudsman added that after Saakashvili regained consciousness after fainting, he was informed that they were no longer going to transport him anywhere.
