Dubai: According to Saudi Arabia’s state-run news agency SPA, on Monday the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia decided to automatically extend the validity of exit and return visas, and visit visas, without any fee or financial compensation.

According to the details, following the instructions of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Shah Salman bin Abdul Aziz, the General Directorate of Passports has extended the validity, exit and return visas of foreign nationals till March 31, 2022.

The expansion, announced by the Saudi Ministry of Finance, is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to tackle the effects and consequences of the global epidemic COVID-19. To facilitate precautionary measures and measures in the days to come and to help reduce the economic and financial impact of their protection. This expansion will also happen automatically in collaboration with the National Information Center. For this, customers do not have to go to the headquarters of passport departments or missions abroad.

Out-of-state residency has been extended to residents of countries who want to extend the exit or return period due to the Corona epidemic. But entry into these countries has been blocked due to the spread of the coronavirus. Their visas and residency will be extended till 3/31/2022. However, those who have completed the course of Corona Vaccine while residing within the country are exempted from this facility. The Saudi Foreign Ministry says that the visas of foreigners trapped in the country after their arrival in the country on visit visas will be extended till March 31.
