New Delhi, Dec 22 (UNI) The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) on Wednesday successfully tested a home-made surface-to-surface ‘Perle’ missile.
Perle was fired from Odisha’s Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island and he achieved all his goals.
During the test, all of the missile systems worked successfully and hit the target with precision. Equipped with the latest technology, the missile can be launched from a mobile launcher and has a range of 150 to 500 km.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and DRDO Chairman Dr G Satish Reddy congratulated the teams involved in the development and testing of the missile.
