Sweden and Denmark sent a letter to the UN outlining the facts about the incident at Nord Stream on the eve of a meeting of the Security Council, TASS reports on September 30, citing the head of the Swedish Foreign Ministry.
The letter says that the leaks in gas pipelines were due to two explosions with a capacity of several hundred kilograms of TNT.
The Nord Stream operator believes that gas leaks will continue until October 2. How long it will take to stop leaks at Nord Stream 2 is not reported while the timing is being estimated.
