The attacking midfielder of Dynamo and the Russian national team Arsen Zakharyan became the winner of the First Five award, which the Viktor Gorlov Children’s Football League presents to the best young footballer of the year in the Russian Premier League.
According to the voting results, the 18-year-old midfielder “Dynamo” scored 445 points. This footballer was ranked first by 64 out of 100 respondents – coaches and heads of RPL clubs, mentors of youth and youth teams, representatives of the RPL, RFL, DFL and FNL, journalists and organizations that develop football.
The second in the vote was Ufa’s forward Hamid Agalarov , who is currently the RPL’s top scorer. Agalarov scored 312 points according to the voting results. The third is another Dynamo player Konstantin Tyukavin (238). Also in the top 5 were Spartak midfielder Nail Umyarov (160) and Arsenal leader Daniil Khlusevich (114).
Among the nominees for the award were also Maxim Mukhin (Lokomotiv / CSKA), Danil Stepanov (Rotor / Arsenal), Danil Prutsev (Sochi / Wings of the Soviets), Kirill Bozhenov (Khimki), Danila Prokhin (Sochi), Konstantin Maradishvili (CSKA / Lokomotiv) and Vladislav Karapuzov (Tambov / Akhmat).
