A detonator from the times of the Great Patriotic War caused the death of a student of the graduating class of the Podolsk school. The teenager was killed in the explosion.
As it became known to “MK”, the tragedy occurred on the afternoon of November 12. The 17-year-old schoolboy was at home with his mother. My father had not yet come home from work, the younger brother was visiting his grandmother. The boy was in his room. Suddenly there was an explosion. The schoolboy ran into the corridor, clutching his stomach with his hands, and immediately lost consciousness. Mom immediately called an ambulance, but it was not possible to save the teenager – he died from blood loss and serious injuries.
Experts found that the explosion was on the sofa. There they found aluminum fragments of a fuse and a box with a dozen different cartridges without gunpowder and shot. We managed to find out that the boy was fond of military “toys”. He brought the cartridges from Belarus, where he was with his father. And in the summer, the guy and a friend went to excavations in the forests on the territory of New Moscow. Most likely, there a schoolboy found a detonator from the war. In a warm room, the warhead dried up, heated up and began to pose a real danger, but the young man, alas, did not know about it.
At school, the teenager was in very good standing. The teachers were confident that a great future awaited him.
As the head of the press service of the Moscow region prosecutor’s office Natalya Grigorieva told MK, the Podolsk prosecutor’s office was instructed to check this fact and assess compliance with federal legislation.
