On Wednesday, November 17, it became known about the death of the presenter of the children’s television program “ABVGDeyka” and the participant of the show “Dancing with the Stars”, actress Kristina Asmalovskaya . Some of the circumstances of her death were revealed by the artistic director of the program, Tatyana Chernyaeva.
She said that initially the artist was hospitalized with a stone in the gallbladder. She was later discharged home, but soon she became ill and began to choke.
For the second time, Asmalovskaya was hospitalized with suspected coronavirus.
“It got worse and worse, she was transferred to intensive care. And she passed away yesterday morning. I was on a ventilator, ”Chernyaeva said in an interview with RBC , adding that the final diagnosis would be given at the hospital in the late afternoon.
In turn, on her Facebook page, the artistic director of “ABVGDeyki” indicated that the cause of death of the presenter was the coronavirus. At the same time, Chernyaeva clarified that Asmalovskaya had not been vaccinated.
In the comments to the post, users left dozens of messages with words of condolences. However, some commentators urged people to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

Kristina Asmalovskaya was born in 1980 in Moscow. She graduated from RATI-GITIS, played in such TV series as “My Fair Nanny” and “Adjutants of Love”.
For two seasons she participated in the show “Dancing with the Stars”, where her partners were actors Marat Basharov and Maxim Schegolev. Also, the actress for seven years hosted the children’s program “ABVGDeyka”.
