MUMBAI: The number of patients rose to 17 in Maharashtra on Friday night after seven new people were infected with the new variant of Code-19 Omecron. Of the seven new patients, four were found in Pune’s Pampri Chinchwad area and three in Mumbai. In view of Omicron, the state government has taken several steps and appealed to the people to abide by the code protocol set by the authorities or else strict action will be taken.
