State Duma deputies in the first reading approved a bill that will allow mobilized entrepreneurs to manage their businesses through proxies.
Amendments are proposed to be made to the law “On mobilization training and mobilization in the Russian Federation.” Now military personnel does not have the right to engage in entrepreneurial activities personally or through proxies.
According to the proposed changes, citizens who are individual entrepreneurs, or founders of an organization, called up for mobilization service, “may decide to carry out entrepreneurial activities through proxies.”
In addition, it is proposed to give the mobilized a week to resolve organizational issues related to the transfer of cases to proxies.
“Such an approach eliminates the need for mobilized citizens to carry out emergency registration actions to terminate individual entrepreneurial activities or terminate participation in legal entities, retains the possibility of transferring business management, including by proxy, and also excludes the occurrence of adverse legal consequences,” the explanatory note says.
