Margarita Sakharnykh, an English teacher who died during an attack on a school in Izhevsk, was posthumously awarded the “Excellence in Education” badge. This was announced on September 29 by the government of Udmurtia.

The insignia and certificate were given to the woman’s son during the memorial service, which took place today.

The government of the republic also reported that on Thursday funerals were held for four more who died during the tragedy.
