The British Foreign Office announced the expansion of sanctions against Russia due to the holding of referendums in the LDNR, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. This was stated on September 26 on the website of the department.

The “black list” includes, among others, JSC Goznak, 23 people from the board of directors and the board of directors of Gazprombank, 16 from Sberbank, 10 from Sovcombank, billionaire entrepreneurs God Nisanov, Zarakh Iliev, Iskander Makhmudov and Igor Makarov.

Also under the sanctions were the head of the State Administration of the Zaporozhye region Evgeny Balitsky, the head of the government of the Kherson region Sergey Eliseev, the Minister of Education of the LPR Ivan Kusov and the deputy head of the DPR Evgeny Solntsev.
