UP Assembly elections: Chief ministers of 11 BJP-ruled states arrive in Ayodhya

LUCKNOW: Assembly elections :Chief Ministers of 11 BJP-ruled states, including Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, led by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president JP Nanda, will pay a visit to Ram Lalla in Ajudhya on Wednesday.

According to the state BJP, all the chief ministers along with Nada will arrive at Shri Ram Airport in Ajodhya at 12 noon. Apart from Yogi, the Chief Ministers of Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Assam, Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka, Manipur and Tripura, besides the Deputy Chief Ministers of Bihar and Nagaland will also be present on the occasion.

In preparation for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, a meeting of the chief ministers of the BJP-ruled states was held in Varanasi on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During his two-day stay in Kashi on December 13, Modi held two rounds of meetings with the Chief Ministers of the BJP-ruled states and elaborated on the strategy for the forthcoming Assembly elections in five states after the inauguration of Kashi Vishwanath Dham. According to reports, the chief ministers of the BJP-ruled states have been summoned for a three-day stay in Uttar Pradesh in connection with the election strategy. All the Chief Ministers are going to Ajudhya on Wednesday, the last day of their tenure. Earlier, after a two-day stay in Kashi, all the chief ministers had reached Lucknow to spend the night on Tuesday. Today, all of them have a program to go to Ajudhya with Nada.
