The first round of elections for the Uttar Pradesh Assembly is just a few days away. All parties are engaged in electioneering. In this regard, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi reached Secunderabad on February 3, where she conducted a door-to-door campaign for the Congress candidate. Meanwhile, Priyanka Gandhi criticized the yogi government.
He said that the government was dividing you by making you a Hindu-Muslim, while remaining silent on the real issues. Elections should be fought on the basis of development work, which are public issues and should be discussed and not on nonsense. I would like to say that contesting elections based on caste and sectarianism should be avoided.
Priyanka Gandhi said the government should state what it has done for the people in five years. How many roads have been built, how many institutions have been set up for education. Priyanka stressed that elections should be fought only on public issues. When any party comes to ask for votes, the people should ask what you have done and are going to do for us. The people should vote only on this basis.
Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi said inflation was breaking records, unemployment was at its highest level in 50 years, but the government was asleep. Priyanka said that women were being exploited in the state, farmers were being crushed, their crops were not being given a fair price and students were being beaten. People should use their voting power against these atrocities.
