Vishnu Devvi temple accident New Delhi: Former Congress president and MP Rahul Gandhi and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi have expressed regret over the stampede at the Mata Vishnu Devi temple. Twelve people have been killed and 14 others injured in the incident. The stampede broke out when some believers clashed.

Rahul Gandhi tweeted, “The stampede at Mata Vishnu Devi temple is unfortunate. I offer my condolences to the families of those killed. I pray for the speedy recovery of those injured in this incident. “

Meanwhile, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi tweeted that she had received the sad news of a stampede at the Mata Vishnu Devi temple. My heartfelt condolences to the families of those killed. I pray for the speedy recovery of the injured.

12 dead, 20 injured in stampede at Vaishno Devi shrine in J&K

It may be recalled that 12 people were killed and 14 others were injured in a stampede at Mata Vishnu Devi Bhavan in Jammu and Kashmir. The injured have been shifted to Katra Community Health Center. According to Block Medical Officer Dr Gopal Dutt, 12 people died in the accident. According to police, 14 people have been injured in the incident so far.
