Wasim Rizvi, a controversial Indian figure who has filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking a change in the Qur’an, has renounced Islam and converted to Hinduism. According to media reports, the apostate Wasim Rizvi converted to Islam at the hands of Swami Yati Narasimhanand of Dasna Devi temple in Ghaziabad, after which he was renamed Jatinder Narain Singh Tyagi.

Apostate Wasim Rizvi while talking to media said, “I am adopting Sanatan Dharma today. I was expelled from Islam.”

On the other hand, the National President of All India Hindu Mahasabha, Swami Chakrapani Maharaj said that he welcomes Wasim Rizvi’s decision to convert to Hinduism, now Wasim Rizvi is part of our Hindu religion Sanatan Dharma. No one should dare to issue a fatwa against Wasim Rizvi. The central and state governments should also provide proper protection to Wasim Rizvi.

According to media reports, Wasim Rizvi is a big fan of BJP and Modi and has held the post of chairman of Shia Waqf Board in Uttar Pradesh. What is the expression of desire?

He swore allegiance to his Hindu friend Pandit Swami Yati Narasimhanand and after his death he bequeathed his body to the same friend and to light a fire from his hand.

According to media reports, Wasim Rizvi has insulted the Holy Prophet (PBUH) by writing a controversial book in the past, after which he was severely criticized by Indian Muslims and expelled from Islam.

Controversial figure Wasim Rizvi had filed a petition in the Indian Supreme Court to remove some verses from the Qur’an. However, Wasim Rizvi’s appeal was rejected by the Supreme Court and he was also fined Rs 50,000.
