The head of the Institute for the Study of Contemporary Politics Anton Orlov sent an appeal to the Minister of Labor of the Russian Federation, Anton Kotyakov, with a proposal to improve the working conditions of working pensioners.
Orlov noted that according to the current legislation, working pensioners are entitled to an annual paid leave of 28 days, as well as to additional leave without pay for up to 14 days.about:blank
The head of the organization proposed to increase the period of paid leave for working pensioners to 31 calendar days. By the way, working minors in Russia have the right to leave for the same length of time.
Orlov noted that elderly Russians who continue to work often have health problems and need additional rest.
At the same time, it is proposed to increase the duration of paid leave for them while retaining the opportunity to take an unpaid one for two weeks, RT reports .
In late September, the Russian government rejected a bill on the indexation of pensions for working pensioners. The Cabinet of Ministers said that the authors of the initiative did not indicate the sources from which funds will be withdrawn for these purposes.
It should be noted that the indexation of pensions for working pensioners has not been carried out for several years.
