Russian TV presenter, music producer Yana Rudkovskaya told reporters about the reasons for the hospitalization of her husband, two-time Olympic figure skating champion Evgeni Plushenko.
According to Rudkovskaya, Plushenko was urgently taken to the hospital on January 26 against the background of an exacerbation of a duodenal ulcer.
“The wife was taken away in an ambulance with an exacerbation … But the doctors promised to let him go for outpatient treatment,” the producer said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
Earlier, the athlete himself said that he felt unwell during training.
